Michael Showalter: Seroquel

Michael Showalter talks about some drugs he took once. Very funny stuff.

I agree with your premise that there is nothing funny on network T.V. anymore, except of course for "Family Guy". I don't know anyone who watches crap like "According to Jim" or "Two and a Half Men".

But you have to get away from the networks to see funny shows. "Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia" is by far the funniest show on T.V. I just watched the whole third season, and man I almost died laughing. The "cop" episode when they buy and old police car and Charlie dresses up like Serpico had to be the most brilliant single episode of any comedy in ten years. You may have to look hard, but there still is some very funny stuff on T.V. these days.

Yes, IASIP is possibly the best thing going for television right now. I spent a lot of money for all three seasons on ITUNES, but I think it was worth it. Charlie Day is one of the most underated men currently working in the biz. I do however see great hope for this man, I just hope he doesn't become pigeonhold as "Charlie" forever. My favorite episode is "Hundred Dollar Baby" where Dee takes steroids and Charlie starts training to be an underground street fighter training on beer only to become involved in steroids as well. Pretty fucking genius.
