"It's lonely at the top"

Vicky Christina Barcelona. Slow motion? Zooming fade outs? Voiceover narration of semi-obvious plot details? Threesomes? Bicycle rides through the European countryside? Woody Allen is Julesing you Jim.

And it's delightful.

Read his behind the scenes production diary HERE. He dishes on giving an Oscar winner acting tips and his own ability to satisfy three randy and insatiable actresses simultaneously.

Misinterpretation!
I'm sorry.
"Not this one, Josh" was a poorly placed reference from Jules & Jim, also used in The Life Aquatic ("Not this one, Klaus" - Steve Zissou). I haven't even seen the film yet.
But today is the day I'm going to see Vicky Christina Barcelona with Truffaut on my mind.

I was so happy to find that I loved "Vicky Christina Barcelona." Wasn't such a huge fan of the narrator's voice or Vicky's delivery of lines sometimes, but all in all: sexy.

Dope. I had mixed feelings about the narrator, too. I thought Vicky was delightful but next to Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz, anyone was bound to suffer in comparison.
