I Betcha Can't Watch It Just Once

If it is a man of the 90's undeniable right to quench his thirst in his own way, were men of the 80's not granted that same right? I don't like this commecial because it features Richard Lewis or an obsolete "adult-juice box," not the out-right condemnation of a cola-dominated beverage scene, but because the 32 seconds it occupies is even more stupefying to me now than when it first left an indelible impression at 7.

Richard Lewis hosted a made for tv miniseries adaptation of "The Borrowers" that my grandfather taped for us when we were kids. Completely unprovoked, I've thought of it at least once a week for the last decade and a half. He's an inexplicably potent dude.

He is absolutely an inexplicably potent dude! I think it has a lot do with his eyes, hair, and obviously, mannerisms. This commercial hit me when I was younger (I do recall having myself some Boku at some point) but it is truly even stranger now.

I remember drinking a Boku sitting middle seat in the fam's Mercury Village driving somewhere around South Shore.
