A good man.

After studying for a month in CA, I'd have to agree with him about weather. It's like a sunny day is begging for you to be happy and carefree, and you really can't be that way all the time. After three weeks of sunny days and not seeing a single drop of rain, I was more irritable than I've ever been in my life - I actually looked forward to going back to Boston's humid August. On my first trip on the T after coming back, the unairconditioned, crowded train I was on broke down and we were stuck in a tunnel for 30mins. Finally, I walked home in a thunderstorm that had broken while I was underground. It was so refreshing to be inconvenienced and uncomfortable.

Have you guys ever read any of Woody Allen's books?
I am reading 'Without Feathers' right now, but so far, I feel like a lot of the humor is 'adlib' humor [nonsensical, fill-in-the-blanks-with-random-words]. But! 'Getting Even' is genius! And, who knows, 'Without Feathers' might be more funny as it progresses. I have faith in Mr. Allen.

"Without Feathers" has its moments. It really doesn't "get better" as it goes, but when it hits, it counts.
