Golden Gate Managers Vote to Build Suicide Net By JESSE McKINLEY Published: October 11, 2008 The board that controls the Golden Gate Bridge took a major step toward building a suicide barrier, voting to erect a net under the span.
very intrigued by this documentary. really want to see it. some (maybe all and i haven't noticed) large bridges post the sign at the beginning and end of the bridge listing a suicide counseling number and with the phrase "think twice" or something like that. such an eerie, awful phrase, in context, that's made everyday by the standardized sign.

I just watched this documentary. I'd suggest it if you haven't already seen it. Warning: It's pretty disturbing, and you may want to watch it alone.
